FlexiDim™ DMX Interface
The FlexiDim™ DMX interface appears to the system like an 8 channel dimmer module. Its ID should be entered into the Installer Configuration software in the same way. The output of the module is DMX512 protocol, and implements addresses 1 through 8. Set the devices that it controls to fall within this range.
DMX Interface Cabling
The FlexiDim™ DMX interface has an attached RJ45 plug which carries the DMX512 signal. The pin out for this cable is as follows:
| Pin 1 | Data + (A) |
Orange/White |
| Pin 2 | Data - (B) |

This connector should plug into equipment that conforms to the Artistic Licence recommendations for DMX over RJ45. Check your equipment’s documentation carefully before assuming that it conforms to this recommendation. If necessary, cut off the plug and make connections to the signals as required.
At the other end of the module is an RJ45 socket which connects to the FlexiDim™ dimmer data as well as the +12V supply and 0V from the Scene Controller. The pin out for this socket is as follows:
| Pin 1 | Channel 1 A |
