FlexiDim™ switches are available in 4 and 8 scene variations, in a range of colours and finishes, with and without illumination and engraving. As well as the scene buttons, switches have on/off and manual up & down dimming buttons. These are also fully programmable.

Motion detectors can also be connected to the FlexiDim™ system for use outside or in rooms where a switch is not ideal or the most useful way to activate the lights (for example, in a wet-room or a garage).

In addition, FlexiDim™ offers remote controls with ranges between 200m and 3km. Infra-red receivers are also available to allow FlexiDim™ to be controlled by today’s increasingly popular ‘learning’ remote control units.

The FlexiDim™ control units are compact and able to be installed in a variety of convenient locations. There is no need for all Dimmer Modules to be located in the same place. This makes the task of wiring and installation considerably easier and cheaper.

FlexiDim™ control units are also able to be configured for fault tolerant operation, with dual power supplies and built in diagnostics to ensure reliable operation. In the unlikely event of unit failure, the rest of the FlexiDim™ system continues to operate while JCL gets a replacement unit to you by noon on the next working day.

All components of the FlexiDim™ system are guaranteed for 5 years from date of installation.

Lighting Scenes are created and managed using a PC and a Microsoft Windows® compliant User Configuration program which is supplied with the FlexiDim™ system. The configuration file is then downloaded to FlexiDim™ and the PC can be disconnected.

For smaller installations, FlexiDim™ is also available in a ‘Compact’ version, incorporating up to 8 lighting circuits that are controlled by one or two programmable Switches.
